GHO has the following Urgent Needs:
Annual Meeting
The CPFI 2009 Annual Meeting, will be in West Palm Beach, FL on the campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University at the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy. The theme for this year's meeting is "Living In Anticipation of His Coming" - (“Be dressed and ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.” Luke 12:35-36) The Board will have its meeting Friday evening and Saturday June 19 and 20th, 2009. The Annual Meeting will begin with worship Sunday evening June 21st and go through until noon on June 24th with 11 hours of continuing education. Click here full program details (agenda). Click here for a registration form.
The 2008 meeting was held at the Glen Eryie Castle and Conference Center from Sunday June 15 - Wednesday June 18, 2008 in Colorado Springs, CO. The 2004 conference was at this location and there were many requests to return. There were almost 100 pharmacists and students that attended the meeting and they were stimulated by the professional continuing education program that balanced new therapeutic information with sessions on how to integrate our faith into our daily pharmacy activities. Students shared about some of their mission opportunities this past year and everyone was amazed at how God is working in so many places. The spouses program was once again exceptional and a number of families enjoyed the chance to explore some of the neighboring sites in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
