The continuing education program will continue on Friday morning, afternoon and and then again on Saturday morning. Friday evening we have an optional social event scheduled.  Saturday afternoon will be free time at the beach and Saturday evening we will have our banquet, followed by singing on the beach.  On Sunday there will be worship opportunities at SpringMaid or in the community and time on the beach before departure.  Anyone interested is welcome to attend the CPFI Board of Directors meeting which is scheduled for Thursday morning and afternoon.  The theme for the meeting will be "Getting Back to the Basics"  The full program and and registration will be linked here once they become available.

The CPFI 2010 Annual Meeting - was held June 10-13, 2010 at Springmaid Beach, SC.  The meeting tried a new schedule with attendees arriving on Thursday evening with our worship at 7 pm and an ice cream social at 8 pm.  The continuing education program was held Friday morning, afternoon and Saturday morning.  Friday evening just over 100 of us enjoyed an optional Intercoastal Waterway Cruise with Supper.  Saturday afternoon was free time at the beach and Saturday evening we had our annual banquet where outgoing and incoming Board members and officers were recognized and the Warren E. Weaver service award was given to a long time member Paul Kabanga Kupuya from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  It was exciting for him to be with us.     The theme for the meeting was "Let your Christian pharmacists light shine!" (“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. " Matt. 5:14-16)  and Paul has been an excellent example of that.  There were 69 pharmacists, 22 pharmacy students, 35 spouses and 33 additional family members present.  Hope you can join us for next year's meeting.
